Top Decreases
Among the Stoxx Europe 600 constituents, Direct Line Insurance Group PLC saw the largest decrease on Monday, with shares weakening by 4.3%. Following closely were Rubis SCA and Oersted A/S, both experiencing declines of 4.1% and 3.5% respectively. Compagnie de Saint-Gobain S.A. and Clariant AG also saw their stocks weaken, with decreases of 3.1% and 3.0% respectively.
Top Increases
Kion Group AG, a retail/wholesale company, saw the largest increase among Stoxx Europe 600 constituents, as shares added 4.8% on Monday. Yara International ASA and CD Projekt S.A. observed increases of 4.5% and 3.9% respectively. Telecom Italia S.p.A and Entain PLC were also among the top five gainers, with stock prices rising by 3.5% and 2.8%.
Market Movements
The pound strengthened against the dollar by 0.27%, while the euro also rose by 0.22%. Brent crude added 0.42% to $88.92.
The yield on the 10-year gilt increased by 3.84 basis points to 4.468%, and the yield on the German 10-year bund rose by 3.300 basis points to 2.58%.
